I have often been criticized here because of my tendency to post more negative stories about Obama than about McCain. I defended my posting habits, even though I have tried to be a bit more "fair" recently, by arguing that I am admittedly biased. I’m a conservative and the stories I blog about are going to follow that trend.
I wonder if the MSM will give the same argument about their writing more about Obama as well (over 3-to-1), although I think their coverage will be a bit more positive than mine. I’m also betting their bias comes from the other direction. But I’m not holding my breathe to see them make the same admission I did.
hey, not all of the msm is biased. Don't forget that Fox news is leading the way in balanced coverage, not to mention excellent interviewing and debate facilitation.
Another University study finds Fox News fair compared to liberally biased MSM
Liberal media bias? Even Harvard says "yes"
Are you kidding? McCain and the MSM have long had a love affair.
Naturally, cause he's not a conservative ;)
FOX… fair and balanced… because they say so…
Obama's Terrorist Fist Jab

…and my favorite.
It's gotten so bad that Obama made a web page called "fight the smears" to combat all the republican lies.
Hi Aaron:
The reason Obama has more stories than McCain is that he was in a competitive nomination battle, so everything that happens about him is considered newsworthy. If you count all the stupid non-issues that have been covered about him, I don't think you can sustain the charge that the MSM is liberally biased in the election. You probably could justify the claim that the media was biased against Hillary, but that's a different story entirely.

I remember a Time or Newsweek magazine cover with Barack Obama photo on it, and the shot gave him a halo. That's all I needed to know as to where the MSM stood with him.
The media loves Obama AND McCain, but they love trivial pseudo scandals more, hence Elitegate, Wrightgate, MLKgate (this one was used against Hillary).

Watch that change overnight once the Democratic Convention takes place and a Democratic nominee is confirmed.
The nomination is already confirmed, I'd say. Both conventions are shows and news coverage of them is very trivial. I doubt the media will be negative about either candidate during the coronations.
