Ok, here’s another spam from my uncle – he sends me about one a day, but I like to post the ones I agree with or enjoy. I checked snopes for this and couldn’t find it, but it doesn’t matter – the sentiments shared here are shared by many of us who are sick of Islamic excuse making, and the American media’s failure to call a spade a spade – while most Islamic people may be nice, Islam is a hellish religion that poisons those who are taught by it – as has been said, the only reason more Muslims are not murderous is because they are human and realize the atrocity of what it really teaches.
And unlike the intellectually and historically ignorant claims of anti-religionists, all religions are not the same, and few are as murderous as Islam, and certainly NOT Christianity, which has done more good for humankind than any other.
So enjoy.
This woman should run for president.
Written by a housewife from New Jersey and sounds like it! This is one ticked off lady."Are we fighting a war on terror or aren’t we? Was it or was it not started by Islamic people who brought it to our shores on September 11, 2001?
Were people from all over the world, mostly Americans, not brutally murdered that day, in downtown Manhattan , across the Potomac from our nation’s capitol and in a field in Pennsylvania?
Did nearly three thousand men, women and children die a horrible, burning or crushing death that day, or didn’t they?
And I’m supposed to care that a copy of the Koran was "desecrated" when an overworked American soldier kicked it or got it wet?… Well, I don’t. I don’t care at all.
I’ll start caring when Osama bin Laden turns himself in and repents for incinerating all those innocent people on 9/11.
I’ll care about the Koran when the fanatics in the Middle East start caring about the Holy Bible, the mere possession of which is a crime in Saudi Arabia ..
I’ll care when these thugs tell the world they are sorry for hacking off Nick Berg’s head while Berg screamed through his gurgling slashed throat.
I’ll care when the cowardly so-called "insurgents" in Iraq come out and fight like men instead of disrespecting their own religion by hiding in mosques.
I’ll care when the mindless zealots who blow themselves up in search of nirvana care about the innocent children within range of their suicide bombs.
I’ll care when the American media stops pretending that their First Amendment liberties are somehow derived from international law instead of the United States Constitution’s Bill of Rights.
In the meantime, when I hear a story about a brave marine roughing up an Iraqi terrorist to obtain information, know this: I don’t care.
When I see a fuzzy photo of a pile of naked Iraqi prisoners who have been humiliated in what amounts to a college-hazing incident, rest assured: I don’t care.
When I see a wounded terrorist get shot in the head when he is told not to move because he might be booby-trapped, you can take it to the bank: I don’t care.
When I hear that a prisoner, who was issued a Koran and a prayer mat, and fed "special" food that is paid for by my tax dollars, is complaining that his holy book is being "mishandled," you can absolutely believe in your heart of hearts: I don’t care.
And oh, by the way, I’ve noticed that sometimes it’s spelled "Koran" and other times "Quran." Well, Jimmy Crack Corn and-you guessed it- I don’t care !!
If you agree with this viewpoint, pass this on to all your E-mail friends. Sooner or later, it’ll get to the people responsible for this ridiculous behavior!
If you don’t agree, then by all means hit the delete button. Should you choose the latter, then please don’t complain when more atrocities committed by radical Muslims happen here in our great Country! And may I add:
"Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a difference in the world. But, the Marines don’t have that problem." — Ronald Reagan
I have another quote that I would like to add AND…….I hope you forward all this.
"If we ever forget that we’re One Nation Under God, then we will be a nation gone under." Also by.. Ronald Reagan
One last thought for the day:
In case we find ourselves starting to believe all the Anti-American sentiment and negativity, we should remember England ‘s Prime Minister Tony Blair’s words during a recent interview. When asked by one of his Parliament members why he believes so much in America, he said: "A simple way to take measure of a country is to look at how many want in… And how many want out."
Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you:
1. Jesus Christ
2. The American G. I.One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.
Hi Seeker:
I'm not interested in a discussion about the quality of Islam as a religion. IMO what matters in the end is whether a religion is true, and believing as I do that Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life etc., I'd say Islam is not true on the big point even if it is says some true things about God. But the e-mail you just posted is just like a previous one you posted (the one about double tapping) in that the attitude of the e-mail is profoundly unchristian. It shows complete disregard for "them", ignoring jesus' command to love our enemies. Moreover the insulting tone it takes toward the Q'uran disrespects even the non-radical Muslims who are not our enemies.
My gripe here isn't with people disagreeing with me about the war about the war. My gripe is with a Christian brother seeming to endorse the anti-christian attitude of hate. The above article is a hate article, it fails to live up to the way of Christ, the way of loving one's enemies. we Christians ouught not endorse such attitudes, whatever our political opinions may be.

KEITH SAID: IMO what matters in the end is whether a religion is true
But part of how we judge the truth of a faith is by it's fruits. There are many cases in which both Jesus and Paul (and John and Peter) gave us ways to evaluate a faith
– by their fruits
– those who do not love do not know god
– those who desire to kill in God's name are sons of the devil, not Abraham
– the fruits of the spirit
I understand that just because people do wickedness in the name of a religion or system of thought does not mean that the religion is at fault, if such wickedness can be clearly and easily traced back to the foundational teachings, and/or logically traced to those teachings, then I would say that the initial outward evidences of wickedness can NOT be explained by fringe elements or people grossly misinterpreting the religion.
Also, the many daily crimes of Islamists around the world show that, not only are such crimes not merely fringe fanatics, but they point to a deeper sickness in the religion of Islam, if not the foundational teachings themselves.
As a comparison, the corrupt Catholic church had systemic problems, but they did NOT originate with the teachings of the bible, hence the Protestant reformation. I have addressed a couple of times my opinion that Islam can not experience such a reformation because returning to first principles will not yield a beautiful faith like that Jesus preached, but the murderous, exploitive, oppressive faith that Mohammed lived and preached.
the attitude of the e-mail is profoundly unchristian. It shows complete disregard for "them", ignoring jesus' command to love our enemies
It is a bit insulting, but I think you miss the point – it is a political statement aimed at those who make apologies for Islam as if it is some respectable religion, when it is in essence a demonic system as racist, murderous, and wicked as Nazism, but worse because it claims to be from God.
As I've said, Muslims are not our enemies, but dark and demonic ideologies like Islam most certainly are. When we pray to reach muslims with the gospel, we also pray that God would rebuke the demonic forces, the lying spirits, and the deceptions that hold them captive – the deceptions and demons behind the wicked religion of Islam.
Now, you may have a point that insulting Islam may actually go counter to the goal of reaching Muslims, and actually, books like Mark Gabriel's Jesus and Muhammad: Profound Differences and Surprising Similarities recommend that we do not insult Mohammed, but preach and live the gospel in order to reach Muslims.
However, there are three other important audiences out there that need rebuke – one are the liberal American apologists for Islam, including the radical secularists who are unable to evaluate the relative differences between faiths. The second are the radical Muslims themselves who need to know that they can not deceive or roll over those of us who know their true intentions. The third are Christians who might be tempted to think that Islam is not so bad, when in reality, it is one of the most foul anti-human and anti-Christ ideologies around, up there with atheist Communism, materialist scientism, and social Darwinism – two of which have murdered millions.
It is late, I'll post more later.
Hi Seeker:
Quotes from the e-mail:
And I'm supposed to care that a copy of the Koran was "desecrated" when an overworked American soldier kicked it or got it wet?… Well, I don't. I don't care at all.
When I see a wounded terrorist get shot in the head when he is told not to move because he might be booby-trapped, you can take it to the bank: I don't care.
I'm not interested in debating your claims about the quality of Islam as a religion, but if the e-mail you posted were making a reasoned argument that Islam as a religion was evil, I wouldn't be complaining. But that's not what the e-mail did. The e-mail expressed a sentiment about Muslims–both radical Muslims and the moderate Muslims that I know personally–that is hateful. This is not at all compatible with the kind of enemy-love and neighbor-love Christ commanded of us. As Christians we ought not be trafficking in such attitudes. That's all I'm saying.
We can argue the merits of your position regarding Islam some other time:-)
