Napoleon Dynamite, a 1? That was a funny movie.
Ocean’s 11 and 12, Independence Day and Citizen Kane as 2’s? Ocean’s 11 and 12 were decent cops/robbers movies not epic, but better than 2. ID was clearly better than a 2 and good night, the best movie ever as a 2.
Dogeball, Pay it Forward and Scorpion KIng as 4’s? How can you call yourself a movie buff and have Dodgeball on any list as anything worthwhile? How can the emotionally exploitive Pay it Forward been viewed as anything but sappy? Scorpion King, while a nice fun action movie is not close to be a top half of movies all time.
I do find it funny that you are digging the Disney movies. Many of those would be at the top of my list as well.
Ocean’s 11 and 12
Considering Ocean’s 11 was a remake of a 1960’s movie by the original Rat Pack while they were in Vegas doing floor shows, I find this ironic that it is even on Seeker’s list. Since the story and premise originates from a movie made before 1974.
The original movie had no script and was largely invented on the fly in between drunken performances at the Sands in Vegas.
See the original film, but you need to be in a place where you can appreciate the rat pack.

I’m with Aaron: Pay It Forward is one of the worst films ever made. The ending alone is enough to make me want to armbar the director into submission.
I will give you one thing seeker, putting all your movie rankings out there takes guts, so I will give you that, but Talledega Nights as a 4. I just saw that movie last night, while I did laugh at several points. They could have saved the time and money and made like a 15 min short with all the funny worthwhile parts.
I watched the original Oceans 11 and didn’t really like it that much. I have no problem with old movies, at all, but that one didn’t do it for me like the new one did.
Sam, I despise the emotionally exploitive movies. I hated Pay it Forward, I loathe all of the Nicholas Sparks movies. If want to cry at something I will, don’t throw everything at me just to make me cry. I honestly don’t mind crying at a movie or show or anything else, I just don’t want to feel manipulated into it.
