Evidence continues to support global non-warming
Just a short note to show that (a) the ice caps are not melting, (b) the media is lying and recycling and continuing to misrepresent global 'warming' photos, and (c) ocean temps other temp data show no change. NO change.
Basically, liberals need a cause that they can leverage to take our money for centralized government, and the environment is their trump card. And they need causes to which they can devote themselves, so their eco-religion makes them totally sold on the Global Warming Panic. I have a feeling that they should, but won't hide their faces in shame when they find out they've been duped like sheep. Thanks for nothing, Al.

But, of course, this will be dismissed as usual as the baseless ranting of evil liberals since, as we all know, by naming something or someone as liberal they are thus beyond the pale. stinker loves to whine about ad hominem attacks when he is critiqued, but constantly and consistently dishes it out to demonize his opponents. To what passes for a mind with stinker merely flinging the accusation liberal ends all debate, for liberal=evil. This is what passes for argumentation to the fundamentalist/evangelical/right-wing "mind." It's really amazing that they can swallow whole the nonsense and superstition which makes up most of Evangelical "thought" while simultaneously trashing anyone who disagrees in the most vicious manner. But why be surprised? When you abandon reason and science and true spirituality anything goes.

Yes, what most liberals like godless miss is that the real data conflicts with the selective data that political organizations like the IPCC purposely choose.
They are not looking for what is really happening, but what matches their need for a political and moral reason d'etre.
I am contending that they are *manufacturing* this crisis for many conscious and unconscious reasons. For example,
1. Liberals, having hardened their consciences to the plight of the unborn and the unrighteousness of sexual permissiveness and homosexuality, now need to find some moral high ground. The 'impending doom' of climate change alarm gives them that high ground (in their minds)
2. As you mentioned, just like the corrupt GOP who were controlled by oil money, the liberal power brokers are all lined up to pay off their own buddies in the nascent global warming economy (cap and trade is just one). Not sure how their lawyer buddies fit in, but I'm sure they do too.
3. A deeper motivation is that, having abandoned God, they now truly either must worship themselves or nature (or both). As Romans 1 indicates, a people who abandon God (a) abandon sexual mores, as evidenced in the embracing of homosexuality, and (b) worship nature.
Being created to worship, they can not help looking for an idol to devote themselves to. Having abandoned the true valid object of worship (the Creator), they turn to the Creation, and deify it. This crisis is really about putting nature above traditional morality, creating a NEW hierarchy of morality with nature at the top. This also allows us to embrace all that is 'natural,' including the broken sexuality of humanity. This path goes only one way – embracing every sexual perversion.
