One of the overriding and significant reasons why I think that Obama would be an awful president, beyond his lack of experience (forgivable, but risky) in foreign policy and everthing else, is his overwhelming support for abortion on demand. And many conservative writers are sounding the warning bell to moderates who think that Obama’s conservative rhetoric (e.g. regarding Israel) means he is a moderate.
When it comes to abortion, he supports choice death, even for children who survive an abortion procedure and are breathing on the table outside the womb. See articles below.

As an Illinois state senator, Barack Obama twice opposed legislation to
define as "persons" babies who survive late-term abortions. Babies like
Gianna. Mr. Obama said in a speech on the Illinois Senate floor that he
could not accept that babies wholly emerged from their mother’s wombs
are "persons," and thus deserving of equal protection under the
Constitution’s 14th Amendment.

Of course most people–including Senator Obama–would say they
oppose infanticide. This is why it would be necessary to present them
with a test. For instance, I would ask them to read this description
of the procedure known as "intact dilation and extraction", commonly
referred to as "partial-birth abortion." I would also ask them if they
thought that a baby that had survived a late-term abortion should be
killed after it was outside the mother’s womb.After asking those questions I would gauge their reaction. If they
recoiled in horror at the mere mentions of such actions I would warmly
welcome them as fellow Civilized Human Beings. But how should I
classify the moral prevaricators who would attempt to justify such
atrocities? And what about a politician who voted in favor of
protecting partial-birth abortion and voted against protecting
born-alive infants?

I encourage Christians to support John McCain any way they can. This is
because the alternative is unthinkable: an inexperienced, pro-abortion,
tax and spend, internationalist, racially confused (think of his church
affiliation) extreme liberal who does not understand Islamic fascism or
how to deal with it. His race has absolutely nothing to do with it.
